二、勤于创设语境
语境是学习语言知识，掌握语言技能和发展综合语用能力的重要环境和基本要素。词汇教学不宜脱离句子或上下文（context）语境，孤立地让学生读、译、背词汇表。本人尽自己所能使用英语组织课堂教学，除了非用汉语说不可的情况。在语境中讲解新单词,讲解尽量用英语，培养直接用英语思维，力求生动形象，以助记忆。例如,find out 可通过语境来教学。
T： What subject do you like best?
S： I like English best.
T： Very good. Please find out what subject Mike likes best.
S: Mike, what subject do you like best?
Mike:I like maths best.
S： He says he likes maths best.
然后让学生三人一组用Sport，colour，fruit, food等替换subject, 练习find out的用法.在Lesson 23中有coin,论文网 keep, as, moment, tell五个生词, 我就是用它们编了一个小故事,内容如下:
One day two men go fishing, they sit on a bridge. One man says to the other :“Shall we make a bet？”
“Sure. How much? Say the rules first.”
“Simple. First, we cannot leave the bridge. Second, ---- silent. Third, who catches the first fish, he will get 100 ---- Do you agree with me?”
“Yeah. We must do it ---- you say. Let’s start.”
